Adrian Simcox Does NOT Have a Horse

Adrian Simcox Does Not Have a Horse - Marcy Campbell, Corinna Luyken

This cute book teaches young children that sometimes what a person has is not as important as the fun you have with that person. This is an amazing story for younger readers because it is leveled for readers aged 3-5. This book is written with tenderness and is gorgeously illustrated. This book teaches children about understanding, kindness, and friendship and how important those things truly are.

This book could be used in a number of ways in classrooms. One cute way to use this book in a classroom is to play "Random Acts of Kindness" Bingo. Each student gets a board and monitors their kind acts throughout the week and at the end whoever has a row filled up gets a special prize. This is a great lesson for kids and  helps develop empathy.
